Welcome to PHHVI dba Warming Center, a nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact in our community. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to create a better world for all. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about how you can join us in making a difference.
PHHVI dba Warming Center provides food, clothing, shelter, rides, and showers to those in need. But even more we provide hope. Hope and maybe a chance to get out of the situation that has left them in a place of despair.
Regardless of the situation, the Warming Center provides daily meals to those in need.
In 2024- Over 15,000 meals were served!
In addition to serving meals we have a pantry that provides free food.
In 2024-There were over 5000 pantry visits!
Food is not the only necessity people do without. Items like clothes, soap, shampoo, lotion, shaving supplies, and other hygiene products are given out for free.
In 2024-There were over 6000 visits for clothes and other personal items!
The bunkhouse provides a place to sleep for men, women, and children who are on the street. Sometimes it is a broken down car leaving them stranded, maybe it is eviction, a fire, or a domestic violence situation. Whatever the reason they are provided with a bed and assistance .
In 2024 -There were 261 stays at the bunkhouse!
In addition to serving meals and providing food from the pantry, showers, shelter, and clothing, the center also provides transport to family or treatment facilities.
In 2024-There were 52 safe transports!
David Stewart
Our Executive Director David has a passion for helping people . He works tirelessly making sure our guests are provided with what they need. In addition to overseeing all the daily operations, David is involved in every aspect of the of running the center including fundraising, record keeping, personnel management, volunteer management, and whatever else comes up. David is also a Board Member .
Cody Freeman
Our Culinary Director & Chef Cody provides delicious & nutritious meals with food donated from our business and charity partnerships. Cody supervises his volunteers and acts as a liaison to our business and charity partners. He also fundraises and is a board member.
Virginia Sowell
Without Ginger the Center would come to a screeching halt. She takes care of so much . In take, help with daily operations, secretarial support, and catching all the pieces that fall along the way.......... She is a treasure to us!

Arizona provides tax credits for individuals who make contributions to charitable organizations to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO) . Individuals making cash donations made to these charities may claim these tax credits on their Arizona Personal Income Tax returns. This tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar credit against Arizona State taxes owed up to $495 for single or married filing separate or head of household and $987 for married filing joint for the 2025 tax year.
